My recent trip to the coast of France had to have been my favorite place I have been in Europe so far. It might be the fact that I love the beach and love swimming that made me fall in love with it even more. The cities of Nice and Monaco are beautiful and definitely a must visit for all. The history that these cities hold are amazing as well, I wish I had more than 4 days there so I could have learned even more.
My favorite thing there was obviously the sweets. The gelato was so good and came in so many different flavors! The crepes and pastries were just as amazing as well and we even visited a spice market and brought home some fresh spices to cook with !
We stayed at this quaint hotel that we found on Hotels.com. It was a minute walk to the beach and about a 10-15 minute walk to downtown. It was also about a 10-15 walk to the train station which made it even better. The train to Monaco only took about 25 minutes and it brings you along the coast so you see great views the whole time. We only had one day in Monaco which is unfortunate because it is such a great town with so much history. We walked about 10 miles that day to see everything and even took the bus around as well which information helped us to figure out.
We can’t wait to come back and visit here one day and see what else the coast of France has to offer us!
