Who said fashion bloggers don’t like to eat? Well, it wasn’t us because we are so happy to be venturing in the culinary world. That’s why this year we decided to go the NYCWFF. Read more today to learn our favorite drinks and bites!
This year we have been getting more into featuring and demoing more than just fashion. We started working with food companies and resturants and we have loved every opportunity because not so secret, we LOVE to eat. So when we decided to go to this years NYCWFF, or excitement only grew! We got to sample so many dishes from restaurants we didn’t even know existed and drink some great cocktails, I mean it was Sunday so we had to do something to help the sunday scares. But really we not only meet a couple of great people but we enjoyed tasting your products while learning more of your company.
Some people that really perked our tastes were Angry Orchard and their new Rose Cider, JAJA Tequila, The Palm by Whispering Angel frozen Rose, O2 Living Juice, and Mamo NYC truffle ravioli. We really enjoyed sampling your drinks, treats and food. But the food and drinks wasn’t just the highlight of NYCWFF, it was about the atmosphere, demos and activities. We loved how some brands created a mini atmosphere inside the venue. So for example American Airlines set up a mini lounge with windows that looked like you were viewing the planes outside and lounge seating and they even had a raffle to win an awesome trip if you posted a photo within their section. There was another booth that you spun a wheel to win a kitchen utensil, so everyone was a winner. A few people won a new pot set but Kelly and I won some useful items so we can’t complain.
In all though, if you love the Food networking and to try new foods because you are a foodie, we recommend to buy tickets for next year and bring your best foodie with you.
