Spring NYFW, another exciting viewing, which we can’t wait to share what we saw. But this time we want to share our looks with you and why we wore what we did! so continue reading to learn about my first look here!
For spring you think lighter colors, fabrics, and sometimes patterns. Well if you ever been to a NYFW in February you know it’s not always the easiest to plan those outfits. Thanks NYC Winter Wind tunnels! So really it’s about finding a chic jacket and dressing like it’s 60 degrees outside underneath.
Finding the perfect jacket this year...
Not always the easiest task but I discovered a new brand at Bloomingdales – Avec Les Filles. They had exactly what I was looking for. A long faux fur jacket that wasn’t just a plan brown. I Wanted something with uniqueness and this jacket pattern brought that! Not only was it unique but it looked great with all my outfits and made a great statement on the street. OH and how could I forget, it was super warm too!
Next was the actual freezing outfit. I knew I wanted to have an all white look…which was harder than I thought to put together so plan be was a neutral light look…equalling my first outfit. We’ve been seeing stars all year so I thought this pattern for the top would be great with the light tan and super open back. We have also been seeing this tassel fringe detail more and more as Spring approaches closer so it was a no brainer when I saw these denim.
Lastly was shoes, which if you never been again is SUPER important. Not only do you want something, comfortable and versatile but you want something that is eye catching. Which is why this caught my eye when I saw them. The metallic green made that statement and shocking it went with more than I thought it would. OH and they were on sale for $54 so it was really a no brainer!
