A college football game is something unreal, especially if it’s Penn State. I went to a fashion college {LIM Collge} in New York City, so the whole sports/tailgating atmosphere was not there at all. Needless to say this was my first time going to a college football game…well any college sporting event actually. The school spirit was something else, watching the student section with their pom-poms, seeing how many people that are alumni or just fans gather together, and so much school gear being worn. You get pulled in instantly and the next thing you know you are wanting to learn the chants & you’re decked out in PSU gear… sorry LIM!

It was a White Out event so as soon as my friend and I got there we made her little sister take us to the bookstore so we could deck ourselves out. We didn’t want to be the outsiders and wear something blue or just the wrong color in general, especially Red since they played Rutgers that night. But on the way to the bookstore we went through the campus. It’s a massive yet beautiful campus. The grounds are well manicured and they have so much student life/sports life going one. They also have a great “downtown” area filled with restaurants, small markets & local/chain retail stores. This felt like a great area for the students. Then there’s the famous PSU Creamery! The line was so long so we only got coffee but I made sure to grab a sheet that shows me how to order if from home. Orders will be placed by the end of the month…the flavors they offer are to die for! I can see why once you go there you instantly become a PSU addict and soon bleed blue.
