What to shop Wednesday: transitional pieces

Its Wednesday and we have a great new store for you to check out. You may have noticed the recent trends of long rompers and scalloped dresses with long sleeves, we have been seeing them everywhere and had to try out a few of the transitional pieces.

With any new season, we always have the urge to throw out all of our clothes and start over, but then again who doesn’t? These pieces from Make Me Chic are great transitional pieces – particularly for anyone who has somewhere nice to go. We love that they can be worn almost year around and for multiple occasions.

Not only is this floral maxi playsuit super comfortable, it is also so adorable. It has an open slit front which everyone seems to be wearing as well as a back zipper to easily get on and off. When we first got this we weren’t sure where to wear it to, but we soon realized how versatile it is and how it can be wore different ways to different events.  We love how it blows in the wind, it really is a statement piece wherever we go, and for less than $35 who wouldn’t want to get it.

This little black dress is perfect for that fall wedding you have coming up. With sweet little details like lace sleeves and a scalloped v-neck, this dress is sure to keep you cool but also warm. Wear it with heels like we did below or pair it with a pair of flats for a more casual brunch style. I know we are thinking a little far in advance but this dress would also make a great NYE dress. Add a fun lip color, a pretty dainty necklace and a pop of color with a clutch and theres your $40 New Years Eve outfit. We know we will get some many uses out of this dress since black does go with everything!

Love both of these – I think the floral playsuit is probably easiest to wear as you can dress it up or down for a casual or elegant look!

We are obsessed with this romper. I (Kelly) am a size 32C and it fit me perfectly you can’t really wear a bra with it either. I got a size small so maybe go up one size?
