Another NYFW has come and gone so quickly and we absolutely loved the trends that we saw not only on the runways but also on the streets of NYC. Inspiration was everywhere this year and it looks like spring is going to be filled with bright colors, fun patterns, or even some fun neutrals!
If you have never been to NYFW and you are a blogger we definitely recommend going no matter what your size is. We are lucky that we live 45 minute outside of the city so we are able to go every year, it is such a treat though! Last Feburary was actually our first time going and we didn’t know what to expect. One thing we were shocked by was that photographers stand outside of shows and try to capture the latest and greatest trends- so sometimes the more bolder and over the top you are the better because you are more likely to get photographed.
Anyway on to some of the trends we saw on the street and in the shows! Starting with RED. Not only did we see red on the streets but it was prominent on the runways too.
We used Polyvore to create our collage that is easily shop-able. The widget on their site allows you to drag and drop everything you love with just a click of a button. Then you can post it and share your looks with everyone. You also can easily shop each product underneath the photo too. How cool!
Next we have pastels. This is one of our favorite trends and something we have already started to shop into. This board was so much fun to make and so easy as it is a hot trend that is happening right now. Who doesn’t love baby blue, light pink, yellow? It is a such a fun trend to mix and match with.
Finally inspired by the runway is our sport chic looks. A big trend we saw was sporty clothes. One’s that can be worn as a day look or a workout look. This is something which we obviously love because well we are #lazy.
We honestly had so much fun making these collages with Polyvore and can’t wait to make them again soon. We hope you loved seeing our favorite trends from NYFW.
Have a great week!
