Another Birthday for both of us and we are happy to share with you how we celebrated and some take aways about being another year older!
Yes we just celebrated another birthday weekend together with mine (Alex) being on the 15th of March and Kelly’s being on the 17th of March! It’s nice sharing a weekend with your best friend too because who wouldn’t want to celebrate all weekend but really we are like sisters and it means a lot just being there for each other. So yes we made it a weekend long fiesta and now we can’t move and are ready for a week long nap.
You might be asking what we did though…
Well we threw a fiesta party Friday night with the best food … TACOS… from Mexicue. Their catering option was not only an easy process but so delicious we still have people raving how good it was! We ordered 4 large tacos boxes which has 24 tacos in each and you have 7 options to pick from. We went with the smoked chicken and impossible (beef). When we order again, because we are, we will definitely be adding a vegetable one as well and maybe do a small tray of that which has 12 tacos. Regardless you can’t go wrong with any of them. In addition, they were super patient and helpful walking us through with options and accommodating certain food preparations. So for example, we didn’t want any dairy products on the tacos and they followed our request and had it all on the side for us. Also we had a happy surprise in our bags that we weren’t expecting … they provided us with eating plates that were perfect for taco eating and serving utensils. We honestly couldn’t have been happier and our guest throughly enjoyed the tacos and of course chips, guacamole and salsa which is a no brainer when ordering.
After that it was an all night celebration which continued the next day after we all took a nice long nap. But the next night we got ready for Kelly’s big day of exiting 26 and entering 27!
Things we are taking away as we just became another year older: 1. Hangovers are a real thing 2. We have amazing friends 3. We know how to throw great parties 4. We both love being March birthdays & 5. Now we need to top this for next year.
